Unlost stores the addresses and titles of your open tabs, and your tab group names and colours, in Chrome's local extension storage on your computer, so it can restore them.

Nothing is transmitted to Bright Loop Media or anyone else. There is no account, no server, no analytics and no advertising. Incognito windows are never captured.

You can delete everything by removing the extension, or by setting history to "Off" in settings.

Export files are created only when you ask for one and are saved where you choose.

A Pro licence key contains the email address you bought with and a signature. It is checked on your computer and never sent anywhere.

Unlost Text stores the text you type into text boxes and editors (not passwords, card numbers, security codes or one-time codes), together with the page address and a label for the box, encrypted in Chrome's local extension storage on your computer. Nothing is transmitted anywhere. You can switch capture off per site, pause it everywhere, delete any draft, or remove everything by uninstalling.

Unlost Clipboard stores text you copy on web pages, with the page title and address and the time, encrypted in Chrome's local extension storage on your computer. Copies inside password fields, card numbers and one-time codes are not stored. Nothing is transmitted anywhere. You can switch capture off per site, pause it everywhere, delete any item, clear everything, or remove the extension.

Unlost Chats stores the text of the ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini conversations you open in Chrome, with each chat's address, title and the dates you saw it, encrypted in Chrome's local extension storage on your computer. It runs only on chatgpt.com, claude.ai and gemini.google.com, never calls those sites' servers itself, and does not store images or attachments. Nothing is transmitted anywhere. You can switch it off per site, pause it, delete any chat, delete one site's chats or everything, or remove everything by uninstalling.
